			<description><![CDATA[Being a student at North Beach from 1970-1976 I was coached and taught by Mr. Reikkola.  He was my boxing coach and appreciate the confidence he had in me to go up against some of my schoolmates who had much longer reaches than me (Robert Ross). Mr. Reikkola never failed to produce greatness in others as long as we were willing to try and then try harder.  I own a pair of boxing gloves because of him (and now my son has given me a bloody nose with them).  I think Mr. Reikkola might be the one responsible for the color-coded shorts program that was a was to challenge ourselves and in each other in PE classes.  I never did get the Gold shorts, mostly because of the peg board but I tried!  He was a real inspiration to me as a teenage boy and I appreciate all he did to challenge me.  My heart goes out in prayer to his wife, children and extended family.  He was a great man in many ways.  Thanks Mr. Reikkola for all you did for me in Moclips.]]></description>			<category>Condolences</category>
